Is this the right cylinder for my slide-out?

Check that your coach uses a Lippert hydraulic slide system and that the old cylinder has a 1-1/2 inch bore and 24 inch stroke. Match part number 354178 before ordering.

Is it hard to install?

It is a direct swap for the same cylinder, but you must bleed the hydraulic system and top off fluid afterward. Many owners have a dealer do it.

Will it fit a 2016 Alpine Ram?

Lippert lists the 2016 Alpine Ram as a compatible model. Confirm your system is hydraulic, not electric, before buying.

Is $453.54 a good price?

Only one new price is listed, $453.54 at Lowe's as of November 4, 2026, so there is no lower new price to compare. Used or aftermarket cylinders can cost less but carry more risk.

What comes in the box?
