Is the Litter-Robot EVO worth $599?

If you want to stop scooping and have one or two cats, buyers call it a good investment. At $599 at Best Buy as of November 5, 2026, it is priced at the top of its recent range, so waiting for a drop is reasonable.

How many cats can use the EVO?

Up to two cats weighing 3–19 lbs each. Larger households should look at a bigger Litter-Robot model.

How often do I empty the waste drawer?

Up to 7 days in a one-cat household. With two cats, expect to empty it more often because the drawer is medium capacity.

Does it need special litter or bags?

It uses clumping litter and standard waste drawer liners. The box includes the unit, step, fence, power supply and 5 carbon filters.

How does the app help?

The Whisker app shows visits, tracks each cat's weight, reports real-time status and lets you control the unit remotely.

What is the warranty?

The EVO includes a 1-year warranty, which is short for a $599 appliance.
