Is the MightyLite worth it over a cheaper aluminum stepladder?

If you work near wiring or weigh close to 300 lb, the fiberglass rails and 375 lb rating justify the premium. For light household use, an aluminum ladder costs far less.

How tall does it reach?

It is an 8 ft stepladder, so a person of average height reaches roughly 12 ft at the top step. It folds to about 62 in for storage.

Does it need assembly?

Yes. The listing states assembly is required, so plan on some setup time before first use.

Is it safe for electrical work?

Yes. The fiberglass rails are non-conductive, which is why electricians favor fiberglass over aluminum.

Is $243.71 a good price?

It is the only new price listed as of November 5, 2026, and it sits at the top of the ladder's recent range. Waiting for a sale is reasonable if you are not in a hurry.

What is the Ground Cue?

It is a tread on the bottom step that clicks or gives way underfoot, so you know you have reached the last step without looking down.
