Questions and answers
- When does Little Giant run sales?
- Little Giant discounts cluster around spring home-improvement season, Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and Father's Day. Retailers like Home Depot and Lowe's also mark down multi-position ladders during their own store events, so check both the brand and the retailer before buying.
- Where is Little Giant cheapest?
- Multi-position ladders are usually cheapest at big-box retailers such as Home Depot and Lowe's during store promotions, and at Amazon when a model is on rollback. Little Giant's own site rarely undercuts them outside of direct sales. Compare the exact model number, since Velocity versions differ by height and duty rating.
- What are Little Giant's best products?
- The Velocity Series 2.0 multi-use ladder is the flagship: it converts to A-frame, extension, staircase and scaffold positions and stores compactly. The Dark Horse 2.0 is the simpler, lighter two-position option, and the HyperLite fiberglass extension ladder suits electricians who need a non-conductive ladder.
- What is Little Giant's return policy?
- Little Giant accepts returns on items bought directly from its site within a set window, typically 30 days, with the product unused and in original packaging; return shipping may be deducted. Ladders bought from Home Depot, Lowe's or Amazon follow that store's return policy instead, which is often more generous.
- How much weight do Little Giant ladders hold?
- Duty ratings vary by model: Type 1A is rated 300 lb, Type I 250 lb, and Type II 225 lb. The Dark Horse 2.0 is Type 1A at 300 lb, and Velocity models are commonly rated 300 lb as well. Check the label on the specific model, since ratings differ across sizes.
