Is $28.99 a good price for two vent covers?

It works out to about $14.50 per cover. That is in line with plain aluminum foundation vent covers, but only two stores list it new, so compare before buying.

Will these fit my foundation vents?

They measure 8 inches wide by 16 inches long. Measure your vent opening first, since covers are usually sized to overlap the frame.

Do they come with screws or clips?

The listing describes only the covers, two per pack. Plan on buying fasteners separately if your vents need them.

Can I leave them on year-round?

They are meant to block cold air and pests in winter. Most crawl spaces need vents open in warm months for airflow, so remove them in spring.

Aluminum or plastic covers?

Aluminum costs more but does not crack or fade like plastic. For vents exposed to sun and rain, metal is the safer long-term pick.

Our take on the Ll Building Products FVC168 Vent Foundation Cover

The LL Building FVC168 is a two-pack of black aluminum covers for foundation vents, sized 8 inches wide by 16 inches long. Aluminum resists rust and holds up outdoors better than plastic covers. At $28.99 for two at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, it is the only new price we can compare, so there is no recent range to judge it against.
