Our take on the Loheer 12-in 15-Amp Dual Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw with Laser Guide and 80T Blade

The Loheer is a 12-inch sliding compound miter saw with dual bevel and a 15-amp motor, aimed at buyers who want a full-featured saw without paying brand-name prices. It adds a laser guide and ships with an 80-tooth blade, so it is usable out of the box for trim and finish cuts. The best new price is $239.97 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, and only two stores list it new, so comparison shopping is limited.

Pros
  • Dual bevel lets you tilt the blade left or right without flipping the work
  • Sliding head extends crosscut capacity on wide stock
  • Laser guide helps line up cuts quickly
  • 80-tooth blade included for smoother finish cuts
  • 15-amp motor is in line with full-size saws
Cons
  • Few stores carry it, so price competition and support are thin
  • No track record on long-term durability
  • Laser guides on budget saws often drift and need realignment
  • Heavy sliding saws need a sturdy stand or bench

Questions and answers

Is the Loheer miter saw worth it at $239.97?
For a 12-inch dual bevel sliding saw with a laser and an 80-tooth blade, $239.97 at eBay as of November 4, 2026 is low. The trade-off is that only two stores list it new, so service and parts support are less certain than with a major brand.
Does it cut crown molding and baseboard?
Yes. Dual bevel and the sliding head handle nested crown and tall baseboard, and the 80-tooth blade is suited to trim cuts. Very tall crown may still need a saw with more vertical capacity.
What is the difference between single and dual bevel here?
A dual bevel saw tilts the blade both left and right, so you can keep the material flat and avoid flipping it for opposite miters. That saves time on repeated trim cuts.
What comes in the box?
The saw, a 12-inch 80-tooth blade, a blade wrench, a dust bag and the laser guide hardware. A stand and hold-down clamps are usually sold separately.
When is the price lowest?
Miter saws tend to drop during fall and holiday tool sales. With only two stores listing it, watch the eBay price around those periods rather than expecting frequent discounts.
Where is the Loheer 12-in 15-Amp Dual Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw with Laser Guide and 80T Blade cheapest?
At Lowe's, for $437.99, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Loheer 12-in 15-Amp Dual Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw with Laser Guide and 80T Blade?
2 stores we checked sell it, including Lowe's, eBay.
