Our take on the Loon Peak Round Mango Wood Coffee Table with Rimmed Bowl Top & Sturdy Pedestal Base

The Loon Peak round coffee table is a solid mango wood piece with a raised rim around the top, so the surface works as a shallow bowl for remotes, books or a tray. It measures 27.5 inches across and 16 inches high and sits on a single pedestal base. It ships fully assembled. No current price was provided, so check the latest quote against its recent range before buying.

Questions and answers

Is the Loon Peak mango wood coffee table worth it?
It depends on price and your sofa height. Solid mango wood, a rimmed top and no assembly are real advantages; a 16-inch height and 27.5-inch top suit compact seating, not big sectionals.
How tall is it next to a sofa?
It is 16 inches high. That sits at or slightly below the seat of most sofas, which works for reaching drinks and books but is low for taller couches.
Does it really come fully assembled?
Yes, the listing states no assembly required. Expect a heavy box, so have a second person help move it into place.
How do I care for mango wood?
Dust with a soft cloth and wipe spills promptly. Use coasters under hot or wet items and keep it out of direct sun and away from radiators to limit drying and cracking.
Is the rimmed top practical?
The raised rim acts like a shallow tray, which helps keep remotes and small items contained. It also means the usable flat surface is slightly smaller than the 27.5-inch footprint.
When is the best time to buy?
Furniture discounts cluster around major holiday sales and end-of-season clearances. Check the price history on this page and buy when the quote is near its recent low.
