Is the Thinker Kit worth $88?

At $88 at Lovevery as of November 5, 2026, you pay for wood and cotton pieces plus a play guide. If you want a single curated set for an 11-12 month old, it is reasonable; if you already own similar peg and box toys, the value drops.

How does it compare with the earlier kits?

The Thinker Kit follows the baby's shift to problem-solving: sliding, dropping and hiding. Earlier kits focus more on sensory and grasping play, so this one adds object permanence and opposites rather than repeating them.

Does it need batteries?

No. Every piece is manual, including the sliding-top box and peg drop, so there is nothing to charge or replace.

Lovevery targets it at about 11 to 12 months, and the listing gives a 9 to 18 month range. Most babies get the most from it in the months right around their first birthday.

What comes in the box?

The set includes the sliding-top box, a peg drop, opposite balls, a soft cotton baby doll and a small 'Animals I See' mini book.

Only Lovevery lists it new at $88.00 as of November 5, 2026, so there is no second seller to compare. Watch for Lovevery's own subscriber or bundle pricing rather than store discounts.
