Is this bed worth it?

At $293.90 at Lowe's as of November 7, 2026, it is a low-cost way to get a king platform bed with storage and LED lighting in one piece. If you need drawers and accent light, it covers both without buying separate furniture.

Does it need a box spring?

No. It is a platform bed, so a king mattress sits directly on the wood slats.

How much storage does it add?

It has built-in under-bed storage, which is the main reason to pick it over a plain platform frame. Check the drawer depth against what you plan to store.

How does the LED light work?

The frame has electronic LED lighting built in, so it needs a power source near the bed. Plan an outlet or extension cord before assembly.

What size mattress fits?

It takes a standard king mattress. No box spring is required.

When is the price lowest?

Only one new price is tracked, $293.90 at Lowe's as of November 7, 2026, so there is no history yet to show a cheaper window. Watch it around major sale periods.
