Is the LUCID 10 Inch good for side sleepers?

It is on the firm side, so most side sleepers will want a mattress topper for shoulder and hip pressure. Back and stomach sleepers tend to find it supportive enough.

What is a short queen, and will it fit my RV?

A short queen is 60 inches wide and 80 inches long, 5 inches shorter than a standard queen. It is the common size for RV and camper beds; measure your platform before ordering.

How long does it take to expand after unboxing?

It usually reaches most of its height within a few hours and is fully expanded in about 24 to 48 hours. A slight smell is normal at first and fades within a few days.

Does it need a box spring?

No. It works on a slatted frame, platform bed or adjustable base. A box spring is optional and mainly adds height.

Is $339.99 a good price?

That is near the low end of its recent range and a fair price for a queen innerspring. Only one store lists it new, so compare before waiting for a drop.

Our take on the LUCID 10 Inch Short Queen

The LUCID 10 Inch is a budget innerspring mattress sold in a short queen (80 inches long, 5 inches shorter than a standard queen) plus standard sizes. It pairs a quilted knit cover and gel-infused memory foam top layer with a steel coil base, so it sleeps firmer and bouncier than an all-foam bed. At $339.99 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, it sits near the low end of its recent price range, which is typical for a no-frills boxed innerspring.
