Is the Lucid 6 Inch mattress good for adults?

It is best as an occasional or secondary bed. Most adults will want at least 8 inches of foam for daily sleeping, especially at higher weights.

Does it work on a bunk bed or sofa bed?

Yes. The 6-inch profile and light weight suit bunk frames, trundles and sofa beds, and it fits standard Queen frames at 80 inches long.

It is on the firm side for a memory foam mattress. The thin profile leaves little sink, which lighter sleepers often like and heavier sleepers may find hard.

Does the gel foam sleep cool?

Gel infusion helps compared with basic memory foam, but a 6-inch foam bed still traps some heat. A breathable cover and a cooler room help.

Is $139.99 a good price?

It is at the low end of its recent range, and 5 stores list it new. Compare those stores before buying, since thin foam mattresses often go on sale.

The mattress arrives compressed and rolled in one box. It expands over about 24 to 72 hours, and a slight foam smell usually fades within a few days.

Our take on the Lucid 6 Inch Memory Foam Mattress

The Lucid 6 Inch Gel Memory Foam Mattress is a thin, budget foam mattress meant for bunks, trundles, sofa beds and guest setups rather than a main bedroom. The gel-infused memory foam layer is designed to sleep cooler than plain foam, and the 6-inch profile keeps it light and easy to move. At $139.99 for a Queen at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent range, with 5 stores pricing it new.
