For the price, yes, if you want a small track toy for a 1 to 3 year old. Do not expect durable, long-lasting construction.

How does it compare with a plain car ramp?

It adds lights, sound and a spray effect on top of the spiral ramp. Those extras need batteries and water, so a plain ramp is simpler and quieter.

Does it need batteries?

Yes. The lights, sounds and spray run on batteries, which are not included. Expect to replace them with heavy use.

How big is it once assembled?

About 11 inches long, 11.4 inches wide and 7.1 inches tall. It fits on a small table or the floor.

What age is it really for?

The box says 1 and up, but the small cars make it a better fit for ages 2 to 4. Supervise younger toddlers.

Toy sets like this usually drop around Black Friday and in the weeks before Christmas. Watch the price history for dips below the current best price.

Our take on the Lucky Doug Airplane Toys with Cars Track

The Lucky Doug Airplane Toys with Cars Track is a plastic toddler playset built around a spiral track that sends four small cars down from a toy airplane. It adds light, sound and a spray effect, and is aimed at ages 1 to 6. It is a small set, roughly 11 by 11 by 7 inches assembled, so it fits on a low table or floor. The latest best price sits near the low end of its recent range, making it a cheap pick among toddler car-and-track toys.
