Is $35 a good price for this candle?

It is the only new price listed, $35.00 at The Rustic Barn as of November 7, 2026, so there is nothing to compare it against. Comparable etched-glass moving-flame candles usually sell for roughly $20 to $40, which puts this at the upper-middle of that band.

How long do the batteries last?

The maker does not state a runtime. Each candle takes three AAA batteries, and the moving flame plus a 6-hour nightly timer will drain them faster than a static LED, so expect to replace them every few weeks with daily use.

What is the difference between the small and large sizes?

The small is 3.5 inches wide and 4 inches tall; the large is 4 inches wide and 5 inches tall. Both use the same flame and timer, so the choice is about scale and grouping them together.

Does the timer turn it on and off every day?

Yes. Turn it on once at the time you want, and it stays lit for 6 hours, shuts off, then repeats the same cycle each day until you switch it off or the batteries die.

Is it safe to leave unattended around kids and pets?

Yes. There is no open flame, no heat and no melting wax, so it can sit on a shelf or table without the fire risk of a real candle. The glass is still breakable if knocked over.
