Our take on the LUXEYARD Walnut Mid-Century Freestanding Bathroom Vanity Base Only with Soft Close Doors

This is a 36-inch freestanding bathroom vanity base in walnut with a mid-century look and two soft-close doors. It is sold as the cabinet only, so the sink, countertop and faucet are bought separately. At $199.99 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, it sits at the low end of what a 36-inch walnut-finish base usually costs, though only two stores list it new and there is no longer price history to compare against.

Pros
  • Soft-close doors cut slam noise
  • Freestanding install is simpler than a wall-hung unit
  • 36-inch width fits common single-sink layouts

Cons
  • Base only: no top, sink or faucet included
  • Only two stores list it new, so price competition is thin
  • No drawer storage, just a two-door cabinet
  • Walnut veneer and solid-wood content are not stated
  • Limited review base of 5 ratings

Questions and answers

Does the price include a sink or countertop?
No. This is the base cabinet only. You supply the countertop, sink and faucet, which adds to the total cost.
What size top do I need?
It is 36 inches wide, so pair it with a 36-inch vanity top with a single-sink cutout. Check the top's depth against the cabinet before buying.
Is $199.99 a good price?
It is low for a 36-inch walnut-finish soft-close base. Only two stores list it new as of November 3, 2026, so compare those two before ordering.
Is it hard to install?
A freestanding base is one of the easier installs: level it, secure it to the wall if the instructions call for it, then set the top. Plumbing hookup is the same as any single-sink vanity.
Does it have drawers?
No. Storage is a two-door cabinet with a shelf area, so plan separate drawer storage if you need it.
When is it cheapest?
Vanity bases tend to dip during bathroom remodel sales in spring and around Black Friday. With only two sellers, watch both rather than waiting on one.
