Our take on the MODCART Freestanding 36-in Grey Bathroom Vanity Base Cabinet without Top 6 Drawers

The MODCART 36-in Grey Bathroom Vanity Base is a freestanding cabinet that ships without a top, so you choose the sink and counter to finish it. Six drawers give it more storage than the typical two-door vanity, and the grey finish suits modern and transitional bathrooms. At $357.90 at Lowe's as of November 4, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against.

Pros
  • Six drawers for organized storage
  • Freestanding design fits standard 36-inch single-sink spaces
  • Grey finish works with many tile and fixture palettes
  • Base-only format lets you pick the top and sink you want
Cons
  • No top, sink or faucet included, so total cost is higher than the listed price
  • Only one store lists a new price, so there is little price competition
  • 36-inch width limits it to single-sink bathrooms
  • Drawer-heavy layout means less tall storage for cleaning supplies

Questions and answers

Is the MODCART 36-in vanity base worth it?
It is a reasonable buy if you want drawer storage and plan to choose your own top. Budget for a countertop, sink and faucet on top of the $357.90 base price at Lowe's as of November 4, 2026.
What is included with this vanity?
The cabinet base only. No countertop, sink, faucet or mirror is included, so those are separate purchases.
What size top and sink fit this cabinet?
It is a 36-inch single-sink base, so pair it with a 36-inch vanity top and a single-bowl sink cut to match. Confirm the top's depth and sink cutout against the cabinet before ordering.
Does it come assembled?
Freestanding vanities of this type usually arrive partly assembled with the cabinet box built and drawers to fit. Check the listing details for assembly requirements before buying.
When is the best time to buy it?
Vanity pricing tends to dip during bathroom and kitchen sale events and holiday weekends. With only one new price listed, watch Lowe's for markdowns rather than expecting cross-store competition.
Where is the MODCART Freestanding 36-in Grey Bathroom Vanity Base Cabinet without Top 6 Drawers cheapest?
At Lowe's, for $357.90, as of our latest check.
