Are these containers oven-safe?

Glass bowls of this type are typically oven-safe, but check the lid: most lids are for fridge and freezer only and should come off before heating.

Can they go in the freezer?

Yes, glass storage bowls are generally freezer-safe. Leave headroom for food to expand and let them thaw before reheating.

Snap lids on sets like this seal for fridge and freezer use but are not fully leak-proof. Carry them upright in a bag.

The set has 10 glass containers with 10 matching lids. The 22 oz size is a single-meal portion.

How does this compare with plastic containers?

Glass costs more and weighs more, but it does not stain, hold odors or warp, and it can go in the oven.
