Is the Aries theater sofa worth it?

It suits buyers who want three power-reclining leather seats with cup holders in one piece. Compare its sale price with similar leather theater sofas before deciding, since full price is high for a niche item.

How much space do I need behind it to recline?

Zero-gravity recliners need several inches of wall clearance so the back can tilt. Measure your room and leave room behind the sofa before ordering.

Does it need to be plugged in?

Yes. Power recline runs on electricity, so you need an outlet near the sofa. Check the cord length on the listing before you commit.

Is the leather real or bonded?

Macy's lists the Aries as leather; confirm on the product page whether it is top-grain or a leather match on the sides and back. That affects durability and how it wears.

Macy's furniture goes on sale around major holidays and clearance events. Watch the price history and buy during a markdown rather than at full price.

What is included with the sofa?

The sofa ships as the three-seat frame with power recline and cup holders. Check the listing for whether white-glove delivery and setup are included.

Our take on the Macy's Aries Triple Power Zero Gravity Theater Sofa

The Aries is a three-seat leather theater sofa from Macy's with power recline and a zero-gravity position that tilts the seat back to spread weight evenly. Midnight leather, built-in cup holders and a conventional design make it a straightforward home-theater or living-room pick. It is a niche, large-format piece, so pricing varies widely by sale; check the current listing for the latest price against its recent range.
