Our take on the Macy's Cobbie Leather 69" Loveseat

The Cobbie is a 69-inch two-seat sofa from Macy's, upholstered in top-grain leather 1.1 to 1.3 mm thick, with padded arms and loose fiber back cushions. Its 41-inch depth and 24-inch seat height make it a deep, upright sit rather than a loungy one. It is sold at one store, Macy's, at $889 as of November 4, 2026, so there is no competing price to compare against.

Pros
  • Top-grain leather, not bonded or faux
  • Compact 69-inch footprint fits tight rooms
  • Padded arms add comfort at the ends
  • Attached wood legs mean no assembly guesswork
  • Under $900 for a leather loveseat
Cons
  • Fiber seat and back cushions can flatten and need fluffing
  • Deep 41-inch frame eats floor space
  • Only one store sells it, so no price competition
  • Only 5 ratings, so the 4.4 score is thin evidence
  • Leather care and conditioning are required over time

Questions and answers

Is the Cobbie loveseat real leather?
Yes. It uses top-grain leather 1.1 to 1.3 mm thick on the seating surfaces. Expect some color and grain variation, which is normal for top grain.
Is $889 a good price?
Macy's lists it at $889 as of November 4, 2026, and no other store prices it new, so there is no lower benchmark. Macy's furniture frequently goes on promotion, so watch for a sale before buying.
How firm is the seat?
The seat uses fiber fill, which sits firm at first and softens with use. Plan to fluff the loose back cushions regularly to keep their shape.
Will it fit my room?
It measures 69 inches wide, 41 inches deep and 37 inches high, with a 24-inch seat height. Check doorways and hallways against the 69-inch width before delivery.
Does it come assembled?
The legs are attached, so setup is minimal. Confirm delivery and placement terms with Macy's when you order.
How do I care for the leather?
Dust with a dry cloth and condition the leather a few times a year. Keep it out of direct sun and away from heat sources to prevent drying and cracking.
