Our take on the Macy's Stellarae Fabric Power Recliner with USB

The Stellarae is a fabric power recliner from Macy's own furniture line, sold in charcoal with a glove-soft hand. A button on the side drives the recline, and a built-in USB port keeps a phone or tablet charging while you sit. At $879 at Macy's as of November 4, 2026, it sits at the top of its recent range, so it is not a markdown moment. Two stores list it new, which limits the chance of a lower competing price.

Pros
  • Power recline at the touch of a side button
  • Built-in USB port for charging devices
  • Charcoal fabric hides everyday wear
  • Single-seat footprint fits apartments and small rooms
  • Backed by Macy's furniture delivery and returns
Cons
  • $879 is the high end of its recent price range
  • Needs a nearby outlet, plus a cord across the floor
  • Only two stores list it, so price competition is thin
  • Fabric, not leather, so stains need quick attention
  • One color only: charcoal

Questions and answers

Is the Stellarae recliner worth $879?
It is a fair price for a power recliner with USB from a major retailer, but $879 is the top of its recent range. Wait for a Macy's furniture sale or a coupon if you are not in a hurry.
Does it need to sit away from the wall?
Power recliners still need clearance behind the back to recline fully. Leave roughly 6 to 12 inches, and check the product dimensions for the exact figure.
What are the dimensions and weight limit?
Macy's lists the Stellarae as a single-seat recliner; check the listing for exact width, depth and weight capacity before ordering, since those figures decide whether it fits your room.
How does the USB port work?
The USB port is built into the recliner's side control and draws power from the same cord that runs the motor. It charges a phone or tablet; it is not a fast-charge port.
Is it hard to assemble?
Most power recliners arrive in two or three pieces and need the back attached and the power cord connected. Macy's delivery can usually set it up for you.
When is it cheapest?
Macy's furniture goes on sale around major holidays and during storewide home events. The current $879 is the high end of its range, so a sale price is likely at those times.
Where is the Macy's Stellarae Fabric Power Recliner with USB cheapest?
At Macy's, for $879.00, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Macy's Stellarae Fabric Power Recliner with USB?
