Macy's Cross Lariat Pendant Necklace

Our take on the Macy's Cross Lariat Pendant Necklace

The Macy's Cross Lariat Pendant Necklace is a fine-jewelry lariat: a cross pendant on a chain that drops into a Y shape, so the cross hangs below the neckline. Lariat styling suits open collars and V-necks, where a standard pendant can sit too high. It is sold at one store, priced at $630 at Macy's as of November 7, 2026, with no other new-price seller to compare against.

Questions and answers

What is a lariat pendant necklace?

A lariat has a long chain that drops into a Y shape, with the pendant hanging below the neckline rather than at the collarbone. The cross sits at the end of the drop.

Is $630 a good price for this necklace?

Only one store lists it new, at $630 at Macy's as of November 7, 2026, so there is no competing price to compare. Whether it is good value depends on the metal and stone content, which the listing does not spell out.

What metal is it made of?

The listing does not state the metal or any stone content. Ask Macy's for the metal type and hallmark before buying at this price.

How long is the chain?

The drop length is not given. Lariats typically hang well below the collarbone, so check the stated length to see where the cross will fall.

Can I wear it every day?

A cross lariat works for daily wear if the chain is sturdy, but long drops catch on hair and layers more than short pendants. It suits V-necks and open collars best.

When is it cheapest?

Macy's runs jewelry promotions and clearance events through the year, and fine jewelry is often discounted during them. Track the price history here to see when $630 has been undercut.
