Is the Myia sofa good for everyday family use?

Yes, if you accept firm seats and leather care. The tight cushions and hardwood frame hold up to daily sitting, but semi-aniline leather will show scuffs and spills over time.

How many people does the 85-inch Myia seat?

Macy's lists it as a four-seat sofa. At 85 inches wide with a 20.5-inch seat depth, three adults sit comfortably and four fit when seated close.

Does the leather need special care?

Semi-aniline leather has a light protective finish, so wipe spills promptly and condition it a few times a year. Avoid harsh cleaners and direct sun, which fade the peacock blue.

Will it fit through my door?

The legs are removable, which helps, but the 85-inch frame and 36-inch depth still need a clear path. Measure doorways and stair turns before delivery.

What is the frame made of?

The frame combines plywood and hardwood. Cushions are foam wrapped in Dacron fiber, and the back carries diamond tufting.

Our take on the Macy's Myia 85" Leather Sofa

The Myia is an 85-inch, four-seat Lawson sofa in semi-aniline leather with diamond tufting across the back and angular arms. It seats four on tight foam-and-Dacron cushions over a plywood and hardwood frame, and the legs come off for moving through tight doorways. The smooth peacock blue leather and mid-century silhouette are the main draw. It is a large, heavy piece, so measure the room and the delivery path before ordering.
