Our take on the Macy's Puff Heart Rope-Framed 18" Pendant Necklace in 10k Gold

A 10k yellow gold pendant necklace from Macy's with a puffed heart charm framed in rope texture, hung on a double rope chain. It measures 18 inches and closes with a lobster clasp. At $1,120 at Macy's as of November 4, 2026, it is the only new price we track, so there is no cheaper new option to compare it against.

Best forGift for a partner or family memberEveryday gold jewelry wearersFans of heart and love-themed piecesSomeone wanting a statement pendant in solid gold
Pros
  • Solid 10k yellow gold, not plated
  • Rope-framed puff heart gives the pendant texture and depth
  • Double rope chain matches the pendant's rope detail
  • 18-inch length sits at the collarbone for most wearers
  • Lobster clasp is secure and easy to fasten alone
Cons
  • 10k gold is 41.7% gold, so it is less yellow and less valuable than 14k or 18k
  • Puffed hearts dent if knocked against hard surfaces
  • Rope chain links can snag on knitwear and hair
  • Only one new price tracked, so there is no discount to compare against
  • At $1,120 it costs more than many 14k heart pendants of similar size

Questions and answers

Is 10k gold good for a necklace?
10k gold is 41.7% gold alloyed with other metals, so it is durable and affordable but paler and less valuable than 14k. It will not tarnish like plated jewelry, but it is not a fine-jewelry investment piece.
Is $1,120 a good price for this necklace?
It is the only new price we track, at Macy's as of November 4, 2026, so there is no lower new price to compare it to. Compare it against 14k heart pendants in the same size before deciding.
How long is the chain and how does it fasten?
The chain is 18 inches, which sits at the collarbone on most adults, and it closes with a lobster clasp. There is no extender listed, so the length is fixed.
Will the puffed heart dent?
Puffed gold hearts are hollow, so they can dent if struck against a hard surface. Store it separately and avoid wearing it during sports or heavy chores.
What comes in the box?
The listing covers the pendant and 18-inch double rope chain. A gift box is typical from Macy's fine jewelry, but confirm packaging at checkout if you are buying it as a gift.
When is it cheapest?
Macy's fine jewelry discounts most around major sales events and the winter holidays. Watch the price history here rather than buying at full price if you are not in a hurry.
Where is the Macy's Puff Heart Rope-Framed 18" Pendant Necklace in 10k Gold cheapest?
At Macy's, for $1,120.00, 65% off, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Macy's Puff Heart Rope-Framed 18" Pendant Necklace in 10k Gold?
