Is the Made In 13-piece set worth it?

If you cook most days and want one set that handles searing and nonstick tasks, the per-piece cost is lower than buying individually. Casual cooks may do better with a smaller set and one nonstick skillet.

Does it work on induction?

Yes. The 5-ply stainless base is induction ready and also works on gas and electric cooktops.

How does it compare with All-Clad?

Both use clad stainless construction. Made In is usually cheaper at comparable ply counts, but All-Clad's US-made D3 and D5 lines have a longer track record and more shapes.

Is the nonstick coating safe?

Made In uses a ceramic coating marketed as non-toxic and free of PFOA and PFAS. Ceramic coatings are generally considered safe, but they lose release performance faster than PTFE.

The 13 pieces span stainless and ceramic nonstick cookware plus lids, covering fry pans, saucepans and a stock pot. Check the exact piece list before buying, since set contents vary by configuration.

Made In discounts most around Black Friday and occasional sitewide sales. Set bundles are already priced below the sum of individual pieces.

Our take on the Made In 13-Piece Stainless Set

The Made In 13-Piece Stainless Set is a mixed cookware set built on 5-ply stainless-clad construction, with a non-toxic ceramic nonstick coating on some pieces and a lifetime warranty. It works on gas, electric and induction cooktops, so it fits almost any kitchen. Made In sells direct, and the set price is typically well below buying the pieces separately, though it sits at the top of the mainstream cookware market.
