Is this mattress pad actually waterproof?

Yes. It has a waterproof backing under the quilted top, so spills and accidents stay off the mattress. Wash and dry it fully to keep the barrier working.

Will it fit a deep mattress?

The knit skirt fits mattresses up to 18 inches deep. Twin, Twin XL, Full, Queen and Cal King sizes are listed.

Does it make you sleep hot?

It can. The fill and cover are polyester and the waterproof layer limits airflow, so hot sleepers often prefer a breathable cotton pad.

It is machine washable, but the cover is not removable, so the whole pad goes in the machine. Use a gentle cycle and tumble dry low.

Is it a mattress topper or a pad?

It is a pad. The overfilled down-alternative fill adds a little softness, but it is thinner than a foam or down topper.

The best new price seen is $23.98 at eBay as of November 6, 2026, with only two stores listing it new. Watch for bedding sales around holidays.
