Questions and answers

Is a 200-sheet capacity realistic?
A guillotine rated for 200 sheets will cut a full stack, but only with firm, even arm pressure. Most users get cleaner cuts on stacks of 50 to 100 sheets.
What size paper does B4 handle?
B4 is about 9.8 by 13.9 inches (250 by 353 mm). It fits B4 and A4 sheets but not A3, which is larger.
Is it safe for a home office?
It is a guillotine with an exposed blade, so keep it away from children and use the blade guard. For occasional single-sheet cutting, a smaller rotary trimmer is safer.
Does it need replacement blades?
Guillotine blades dull over time and most models take a replaceable blade. Check that spare blades are sold for this model before buying.
When is the best time to buy?
Office supply trimmers often drop during back-to-school and January office sales. Compare prices across stores before ordering.
