Our take on the Maogolan 5 Pcs Hedgehog Stuffed Animal 13.7'' with 4 Baby Hedgehogs, Brown

This is a plush hedgehog set from Maogolan: one 13.7-inch mother hedgehog with four small baby hedgehogs tucked in or alongside her. It is a cuddly, everyday toy rather than a licensed character, filled with PP cotton and rated for ages 3 and up. The set measures about 13.8 by 8.7 by 9.8 inches overall, so it takes up real shelf or bed space. It is a budget gift-set plush, and its price sits in the low range for multi-piece stuffed animal sets.

Questions and answers

Is this set worth it?
If you want a cute, low-cost gift for a young child, yes. Do not expect heirloom quality; the appeal is the five-piece family set at a budget price.
How big is the mother hedgehog?
The mother is listed at 13.7 inches, roughly the length of a forearm. The four babies are much smaller and fit in a child's hand.
Is it safe for a 2-year-old?
No. The minimum recommended age is 3 years, and the small baby hedgehogs are a choking hazard for younger children.
Can I wash it?
Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air dry. A washing machine can clump the PP cotton fill and damage the seams.
What is in the box?
One large mother hedgehog and four baby hedgehogs, five pieces total. No batteries or accessories are included.
When is it cheapest?
Multi-piece plush sets usually drop around back-to-school and holiday sales. Check the price history before buying outside those windows.
