Questions and answers

Is the Mapskey 2 Person Tent worth it?
At $34.18 it is a cheap way to get a fast-pitching tent with a porch for festivals and fair-weather trips. If you camp in storms or carry your tent far, spend more on a lighter, better-sealed model.
How long does setup take?
The pop-up frame is listed at under a minute to erect. Taking it down and folding it back into the tote bag usually takes longer and is the step owners complain about.
Does it fit two adults?
The floor is about 78.7 by 78.7 inches, roughly a full-size bed, with a 57-inch peak. Two adults fit, but there is little room left for bags once sleeping pads are down.
Is it waterproof enough for rain?
The shell is 210D Oxford polyester with a silver coating and the brand calls it waterproof, but no hydrostatic head rating is published. Treat it as fine for light rain and seal the seams before relying on it in a downpour.
Can I use it for backpacking?
It packs to 8.37 lbs, which is heavy for a two-person backpacking tent. It suits car camping, festivals and beach trips better than long hikes.
When is it cheapest?
The only recorded price is $34.18, seen on October 28, 2026, and it sits at the bottom of its range. Pop-up tents usually drop outside summer camping season, so watch late fall and winter.
Is the Mapskey 2 Person Tent for Camping Instant Pop Up Camping Tent with Screen Porch at its lowest price?
