Questions and answers

Is the Mapskey 4-6 Person Camping Tent worth it?
At $71.08 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, it is cheap for a tent this size. If you camp mostly in dry, mild weather and want space on a budget, it can work. For wet or cold trips, spend more on a tent with a higher waterproof rating.
Will it keep me dry in rain?
The PU1000mm coating is light. It handles drizzle and brief showers, but sustained rain will likely soak through the single polyester shell. Bring a tarp or choose a tent rated 2000mm or more for wet climates.
How many people actually fit?
The 9.2 x 7.8 ft floor fits four adults on pads with little spare room. Six people would be sleeping shoulder to shoulder with no space for bags. Two adults plus gear is the comfortable setup.
How long does setup take?
Mapskey says it assembles in minutes solo. The reinforced pole frame and 12 included stakes are straightforward, but stake out the guylines fully in wind.
What comes in the box?
The tent, 12 stakes, a carry bag and internal storage pockets. There is no mention of a footprint or full rainfly, so plan to buy a ground tarp separately.
When is the price lowest?
Only one store, Walmart, lists it new at $71.08 as of November 3, 2026, so there is little to compare. Camping gear usually discounts in late summer and around Black Friday.
Where is the Mapskey 4-6 Person Camping Tent cheapest?
At Walmart, for $71.08, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Mapskey 4-6 Person Camping Tent?
