Our take on the Marnur Heated Blanket Electric Throw 50 inch x 60 inch, Faux Fur & Shu Velvet, Tie-Dye

The Marnur Heated Electric Throw is a 50 x 60 inch corded electric blanket in a tie-dye faux fur and shu velvet finish, with six heat settings and a 9.2 ft cord. At 400 gsm it is a plush, heavier throw meant for a couch or chair rather than a bed layer. The best new price is $34.66 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, which is low for a heated throw of this size and fabric weight.

Questions and answers

Is the Marnur heated throw worth it at $34.66?
At $34.66 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is cheap for a 50 x 60 inch heated throw with six settings. If you mainly want a soft couch throw, it is a reasonable buy; if safety certification matters to you, look for a listed model.
Does it have a safety certification?
The listing shows no NRTL listing, so it lacks the UL, ETL or similar mark common on heated bedding. Check the label on arrival and follow the care instructions.
How warm does it get and how many settings?
It has six heat settings controlled from a corded controller. Most owners use the middle settings for couch use; the top setting is warm but not hot.
Can I machine wash it?
Yes, it is machine washable. Detach the cord and controller first, wash on a gentle cycle, and let it air dry to protect the faux fur.
What size is it and does it fit a bed?
It measures 50 x 60 inches, listed as twin, which is throw-sized. It covers one person on a couch or chair but will not cover a twin mattress fully.
When is the price lowest?
Heated throws usually drop in late fall and around Black Friday and January clearance. The current $34.66 at Walmart is already near the low end for this size.
