Is the Maximilian sofa worth $449?

For a three-seat bouclé sofa in a Japandi style, $449 is low; comparable designer-look sofas often cost well over $1,000. The trade-off is a tight back and a low 31.5-inch height, so it suits style-first rooms more than deep lounging.

How do I clean white bouclé?

Bouclé is a looped, textured fabric, so blot spills right away with a damp cloth and mild soap, and avoid scrubbing, which fuzzes the loops. Professional upholstery cleaning is the safe choice for larger stains.

Will it fit in my apartment?

At 83.8 inches wide and 35.4 inches deep, it needs a wall run of about 7 feet and roughly 3 feet of floor depth. Check doorways and stair turns before ordering, since a sofa this wide can be hard to maneuver.

Bouclé loops can catch claws, and white fabric shows pet hair and dirt quickly. If you have cats or dogs, a tighter-weave, darker fabric is usually the safer pick.

What is the seat height and depth?

The listing gives overall dimensions only: 31.5 inches high, 83.8 inches wide and 35.4 inches deep. Seat height and depth are not specified, so confirm with the store if you need exact figures.

When is the price lowest?

Furniture prices typically dip during holiday sales and end-of-season clearances. The current $449 at Ashcroft Furniture is already low for a bouclé sofa, so watch for markdowns around major sale events.

Our take on the Maximilian Japandi Style White Boucle Sofa

The Maximilian is a three-seat sofa in white bouclé with a tight back and rounded, mid-century silhouette styled after Japandi design. It measures 83.8 inches wide, 35.4 inches deep and 31.5 inches high, with a deep seat and a low, sculpted profile. The look reads designer, but the price is $449 at Ashcroft Furniture, well below what similar bouclé sofas usually cost.
