Is the Mecale tent worth it?

It is worth it if you want a stove-compatible four-season tent at an import price and camp from a car. If you need light weight or brand-backed warranty service, a mainstream poled tent is the safer buy.

How does it compare with a poled tent?

It pitches faster because the beams inflate, and it packs into one bag. Poled tents are usually lighter, cheaper to repair and less prone to a single punctured beam deflating a whole wall.

Can I use a wood stove in it?

Yes, the stove jack is made for a stove pipe. Keep the stove clear of the fabric, use a spark arrestor and follow the stove and tent instructions for clearance.

How many people fit comfortably?

Five people fit only with minimal gear. For a stove plus cots and bags, plan on two to three adults.

What is included in the box?

The tent, a carry bag and the inflatable beam setup. Check the listing for a pump, stakes and guy lines, since inflatable tents usually need a pump that may not be included.

Inflatable and four-season tents usually drop in late winter and early spring clearance. Compare the current price against its recent range before buying.

Our take on the Mecale 3 to 5 Person Inflatable Camping Tent with Stove Jack

The Mecale is a four-season inflatable tent that sleeps up to five people, with two doors and a stove jack for a wood stove or heater. Air beams replace poles, so setup means pumping rather than threading fiberglass. The stove jack and four-season build make it a cold-weather shelter, not a summer weekend tent. It is a niche import brand, so support and spare parts are harder to find than with mainstream tent makers.
