Our take on the Mecale 47.2 in Electric Standing Desk with 4 Memory Heights and Cable Management

The Mecale is a 47.2 by 23.6 inch electric standing desk with a wood-finish top, four memory height presets and built-in cable management. The frame raises and lowers by motor, so you can switch between sitting and standing without clearing the desk. At $135.98 at Macy's as of November 5, 2026, it sits at the low end of what motorized desks this size cost, which is the main draw. The 23.6-inch depth is shallow, so a large monitor plus keyboard will feel tight.

Questions and answers

Is the Mecale standing desk worth $135.98?
At $135.98 at Macy's as of November 5, 2026, it is one of the cheaper motorized desks at this size. If you mainly want sit-stand switching on a budget and a light setup, it is reasonable value. If you need a deep top or heavy load capacity, spend more.
How tall does it go and how much weight can it hold?
Mecale does not publish a height range or lift capacity in the listing details given. Check the product page or the box label before buying if you are tall or plan to put a heavy monitor arm and tower on it.
Will a 27-inch monitor and keyboard fit on the 47.2 by 23.6 inch top?
Yes, a single 27-inch monitor plus keyboard and mouse fits. The 23.6-inch depth is the limit: a monitor on a deep stand will sit close to you, and a second monitor will crowd the top.
Does it come with the cable management tray and memory presets?
Yes. The desk is sold with four memory height presets and cable management as listed features. Cables route under the top rather than hanging behind the desk.
When is the best time to buy it?
The best new price seen is $135.98 at Macy's as of November 5, 2026, with two stores listing it new. Standing desks usually drop during Black Friday and back-to-school sales, so compare both stores before buying.
Where is the Mecale 47.2 in Electric Standing Desk with 4 Memory Heights and Cable Management cheapest?
At Macy's, for $135.98, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Mecale 47.2 in Electric Standing Desk with 4 Memory Heights and Cable Management?
2 stores we checked sell it, including Macy's, eBay.
