Mecale 63CC 2-Cycle Gas Backpack Leaf Blower

Our take on the Mecale 63CC 2-Cycle Gas Backpack Leaf Blower

The Mecale 63CC is a gas backpack leaf blower built around a 63cc two-cycle engine and rated for up to 1,110 CFM of air volume. Backpack gas blowers in this class are aimed at large yards, long driveways and fall leaf cleanup where cordless tools run out of runtime. At $111.00 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, it sits at the low end of what a 63cc backpack blower costs; comparable gas backpack models from established brands typically run several hundred dollars. The low price reflects a lesser-known brand, so parts and service support are the main trade-off.

Questions and answers

Is a 63cc backpack blower strong enough for big leaf cleanup?

Yes. A 63cc two-cycle engine with a 1,110 CFM rating is in the range of serious gas backpack blowers, well above typical handheld electric models. It suits large yards and heavy fall leaf loads.

What fuel mix does it need?

Two-cycle gas engines like this one run on a gas and two-stroke oil mix, commonly 50:1. Check the manual for the exact ratio before the first tank.

How does it compare with a cordless backpack blower?

Gas gives unlimited runtime and typically more raw air volume, but it is louder, heavier and needs fuel mixing and engine maintenance. Cordless is quieter and easier to start but limited by battery time.

Is $111 a good price for a gas backpack blower?

It is low for a 63cc backpack model; established brands usually cost several hundred dollars. The savings come with a lesser-known brand and thinner parts support.

What should I check before buying?

Confirm the package includes the blower, tubes and manual, and check whether a warranty and spare parts are available. Also plan for hearing protection and eye protection.
