Mecale 61-Key Portable Keyboard Kit for Beginners

Our take on the Mecale 61-Key Portable Keyboard Kit for Beginners

The Mecale 61-Key Portable Keyboard Kit is a beginner bundle built around a 61-key black keyboard with split mode and built-in recording. The 61 full-size keys give a wider range than 49-key starter boards, and split mode lets you play bass with the left hand and a lead sound with the right. At $82.98 at Macy's as of November 4, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare it against.

Questions and answers

Is the Mecale 61-key keyboard good for a beginner?

Yes, if you want a full 61-key range at a low price. It has split mode and recording, which cover early lessons. Check the key feel and sound in person if you can, since touch sensitivity is not listed.

Does it have weighted or touch-sensitive keys?

The specs do not list weighted or touch-sensitive keys, so assume a standard synth-style action. That is fine for learning notes and chords but not for building piano dynamics.

What is included in the kit?

The listing describes a kit but the specs only confirm the 61-key keyboard itself, with recording and split mode. Confirm the box contents with Macy's before buying if a stand, bench or power supply matters to you.

Is $82.98 a good price for this keyboard?

Only one store, Macy's, lists it new at $82.98 as of November 4, 2026, so there is no recent price range to judge against. Compare it with 61-key beginner boards from Yamaha and Casio, which often cost more but have known key feel.

Can I use headphones with it?

Headphone output is not listed in the specs. Ask Macy's before buying if you need silent practice, since most beginner boards include a headphone jack but this one is unconfirmed.

Where is the Mecale 61-Key Portable Keyboard Kit for Beginners cheapest?

At Macy's, for $82.98, as of our latest check.
