Is the Meowant MW-WR01 worth it?

It can be for medium or large dogs in a yard where burying wire is not an option. Weigh the heavy 10.56 oz collar and the need for patient training against the convenience of a wireless setup.

Will it work for a small dog?

Probably not well. At 10.56 oz the collar is heavy for small breeds, and the correction may be too much for a tiny dog.

Is the collar waterproof?

It is water resistant, so rain and wet grass should be fine. Do not leave it submerged or let the dog swim in it.

How far can the boundary reach?

The range is not stated in the specs. Confirm the maximum radius with the seller before buying for a large yard.

What comes in the box?

Typically the transmitter, the collar and receiver, a power adapter and setup instructions. Confirm the exact contents with the store.

Wireless fence kits often drop during spring pet and garden sales and around major shopping holidays. Track the price history and buy when it sits near the low end of its recent range.

Our take on the Meowant MW-WR01 Wireless Electric Dog Fence

The Meowant MW-WR01 is a wireless electric dog fence that creates a boundary without burying wire. It uses a collar that corrects the dog when it nears the set perimeter, and the collar is water resistant for wet weather. At 10.56 oz it is heavy for a collar, so it suits medium and large dogs better than small ones. No current price was provided, so check the latest best price against its recent range before buying.
