Does the Merax twin frame include a mattress?

No. It is sold as frame only, so you need to buy a twin mattress separately.

Do the four drawers hold a full-size load?

The drawers are under-bed storage, best for clothes, linens and small items. They are not meant for heavy gear.

Do I need a box spring with this bed?

It is a platform-style frame with a headboard, so a box spring is generally not required. A standard twin mattress sits on the frame.

What size mattress fits it?

A standard twin mattress. Twin XL is longer and will not fit properly.

Is the headboard metal?

Yes. The headboard is metal, and the frame is finished in white.

Our take on the Merax Twin Bed Frame with Storage 4 Drawers

The Merax Twin Bed Frame with Storage is a white twin platform bed with a metal headboard and four built-in drawers underneath. The drawers give it storage that most twin frames lack, which matters in small bedrooms and guest rooms. It is sold as frame only, so mattress and bedding are extra. At $299.99 at Amazon as of November 8, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare it against.
