Our take on the Mercer41 101" Oversized Corduroy Sofa

The Mercer41 101" Oversized Corduroy Sofa is a single-piece, three-seat-plus sofa with thick corduroy upholstery, square arms and pocket-spring seat cushions. At 100 inches wide and 35 inches deep, it is sized for large living rooms, open-plan spaces and family rooms rather than apartments. The only new price listed is $339.99 at Wayfair as of November 4, 2026, which is low for a sofa this size and the main reason to consider it.

Questions and answers

Is the Mercer41 corduroy sofa worth it?
At $339.99 at Wayfair as of November 4, 2026, it is a lot of sofa for the money. Expect a budget build: fine for a family room or rental, less so if you want a sofa to last a decade.
How big is it, and will it fit through my door?
It measures about 100 inches wide, 35 inches deep and 34.65 inches high. Check doorways and stair turns before ordering, since a piece this wide is hard to move once inside.
How does it compare with a standard three-seat sofa?
It is wider than most three-seat sofas, closer to a four-seat length, with deeper 35-inch seating. That suits large rooms but crowds smaller ones.
What are the seat cushions made of?
The seat cushions use pocket springs with foam, which gives more support than plain foam but can still compress with heavy daily use. Rotate and fluff them regularly.
How do I clean corduroy upholstery?
Vacuum with a brush attachment and spot clean with a mild detergent, blotting rather than rubbing. Corduroy piles can crush and mark, so avoid harsh scrubbing.
When is the best time to buy it?
Only one store lists it new, so discounts depend on Wayfair's own sales, typically around major holiday events. Watch the price history rather than assuming it will drop.
Where is the Mercer41 101" Oversized Corduroy Sofa cheapest?
At Wayfair, for $339.99, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Mercer41 101" Oversized Corduroy Sofa?
Rated 3.5 out of 5 from 110 ratings.
