Our take on the Mercer41 Boneless Modular Cloud Memory Foam 3-Seat Couch

The Mercer41 Boneless Modular Cloud is a three-piece sofa with no frame or springs. Memory foam fills the seat and back, wrapped in a cloud-textured polyester. It arrives fully assembled and the pieces rearrange into a sofa, a chaise or separate seats. Seat height is 17 inches and seat depth is 28 inches.

Questions and answers

Is the Mercer41 Boneless Cloud couch worth it?: It suits shoppers who want a soft, low-maintenance modular seat with no assembly. If you need firm back support or a long-lasting framed sofa, look elsewhere.
How does it compare with a framed modular sofa?: It has no frame or springs, so it feels softer and less supportive than a framed sofa. It is lighter and easier to move, but foam-only builds tend to sag sooner.
Does it need assembly?: No. The three pieces arrive ready to use, and no tools are required.
What are the seat dimensions?: The seat is 17 inches high and 28 inches deep, which is deeper than many compact sofas.
Can the pieces be used separately?: Yes. The three modular pieces work as a full sofa, a sofa with chaise, or individual seats.
When is the price lowest?: Modular sofas like this tend to drop during major holiday sales and end-of-season clearance. Check the price history before buying.
