Is the Meridian Salina bed a good price at $1,170?

With only one new listing at $1,170 as of November 7, 2026, there is no competing new price to beat. Compare it with other king velvet beds in the $900 to $1,400 range before deciding.

What mattress size fits this bed?

It is a king bed, so it takes a standard king mattress, about 76 by 80 inches. Check the listing's inner frame dimensions before ordering.

Is the frame solid wood?

No. The frame is plywood, an engineered wood, not solid hardwood. That is normal at this price but less durable than solid wood over many years.

How do I clean brown velvet upholstery?

Vacuum with a soft brush and blot spills right away with a dry cloth. Avoid soaking the fabric and test any cleaner on a hidden spot first.

Does it include a box spring or mattress?

No. The listing is for the bed frame only, so you supply the mattress and any box spring yourself.

When is this bed likely to be cheapest?

Upholstered beds usually drop during holiday and clearance sales. With one seller, watch that listing for markdowns rather than expecting cross-store competition.
