Do I need a box spring with this bed?

No. The frame includes closely spaced wood slats that support the mattress directly.

What mattress types work on it?

The slat base suits foam, hybrid and most innerspring mattresses. A very soft mattress may feel firmer on slats than on a box spring.

How much weight does the king frame hold?

ZINUS rates the frame at 500 lbs.

How long does assembly take?

Plan on about an hour or more with two people. Tools and instructions ship in a compartment in the headboard.

Is there storage under the bed?

Only a little. The frame sits low, so under-bed clearance is limited.

When is the price lowest?
