Load is Metallica's 1996 sixth album, reissued here as a 2-LP set on 180-gram vinyl in a gatefold jacket with an MP3 download card. It is the record where the band cut its hair, slowed down and leaned into hard rock and blues, and it holds radio staples like "Until It Sleeps" and "King Nothing." The best new price is $27.35 at Walmart as of November 8, 2026, with 6 stores selling it new; that is a typical price for a 2-LP remaster, not a spike.
