Our take on the Michael Kors Jet Set Large East West Saffiano Leather Crossbody Bag Handbag

The Michael Kors Jet Set Large East West is a flat, rectangular crossbody in saffiano leather, a textured, scratch-resistant finish that holds its shape. It carries a zip top, a long adjustable strap and a roomy single compartment sized for a phone, wallet, keys and a small tablet. The pink colorway is a seasonal shade, so stock and pricing move around; the latest best price is $159 at Distritech as of November 3, which sits at the low end of its recent range.

Questions and answers

Is the Michael Kors Jet Set Large East West worth it?
At $159 at Distritech as of November 3, it is a reasonable price for a saffiano leather designer crossbody. It suits shoppers who want a structured, secure everyday bag more than those who need lots of pockets.
How does it compare with the Jet Set Travel crossbody?
The Travel is smaller and more compact, while this Large East West is wider and fits a small tablet. Both use saffiano leather and a zip top; pick this one if you carry more.
Does it fit a phone and a wallet?
Yes. A large phone, a continental wallet, keys and sunglasses fit with room to spare. A small tablet fits too, but a full-size laptop does not.
Is the strap adjustable and removable?
The strap is adjustable for crossbody or shoulder length. It is not designed to detach, so it stays on when you carry the bag by the top.
What is in the box?
The bag and its attached strap. Michael Kors does not always include a dust bag with outlet or discount stock, so do not count on one.
When is it cheapest?
Prices for seasonal pink tend to drop at end of season and around major sales. The $159 at Distritech as of November 3 is already near the low end of its recent range.
What do buyers say about the Michael Kors Jet Set Large East West Saffiano Leather Crossbody Bag Handbag?
Rated 4.6 out of 5 from 998 ratings.
