Our take on the Michael Kors MK2264U Pienza Women's Sunglasses

The Michael Kors Pienza MK2264U is a women's full-rim sunglass with a round-oval shape, a plastic-and-metal frame and gradient lenses. It has a narrow frame fit and 53 mm lenses, so it suits smaller faces and a softer, retro look. The best new price is $155 at Macy's as of November 5, 2026, with two stores listing it new.

Best forShoppers with narrow or smaller facesAnyone wanting a round, retro frameGift buyers looking for a designer sunglassEveryday wear with partial sun coverage
Pros
  • Round-oval shape flatters narrow faces
  • Plastic-and-metal build mixes light weight with a metal accent
  • Gradient lenses soften glare and look less harsh than solid tint
  • Full-rim frame holds the lenses securely
  • Michael Kors branding and case make it a ready gift
Cons
  • Narrow fit will pinch wider faces
  • Gradient lenses are not ideal for bright, direct sun or driving
  • Plastic frame parts can scratch and show wear over time
  • 53 mm lenses give modest coverage
  • Designer pricing is high for a mostly plastic frame

Questions and answers

Will these fit a wide face?
No. Michael Kors lists the Pienza as a narrow fit with 53 mm lenses. Shoppers with wider faces usually find it tight at the temples.
Are the lenses good for driving?
Only partly. The gradient tint is darker at the top and lighter at the bottom, which helps with glare but gives less protection low in the view. For bright daytime driving, a solid polarized lens is the better choice.
What comes in the box?
Michael Kors sunglasses typically ship with a branded case and cleaning cloth. Confirm the contents with the store before ordering if the case matters to you.
Is $155 a good price?
It is the best new price among the two stores listing it as of November 5, 2026. Designer sunglasses often drop during seasonal sales, so compare against past lows before buying.
How does the Pienza compare with other Michael Kors round frames?
The Pienza is one of the narrower round-oval options, with a mixed plastic-and-metal frame. Larger MK round styles suit wider faces but feel heavier.
Can I replace the lenses with prescription ones?
Usually yes. Most opticians can fit prescription lenses into a full-rim frame like this, but check that the shape and 53 mm size work with your prescription first.
Where is the Michael Kors MK2264U Pienza Women's Sunglasses cheapest?
At Macy's, for $155.00, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Michael Kors MK2264U Pienza Women's Sunglasses?
4 stores we checked sell it, including Macy's, Nordstrom, Designer Frames Outlet, Sunglass Hut.
