Coach HC8449U Women's Sunglasses

Our take on the Coach HC8449U Women's Sunglasses

The Coach HC8449U is a women's full-rim cat-eye sunglass in plastic, with a standard bridge fit. The cat-eye shape and Coach branding are the draw; the plastic frame keeps it light for everyday wear. At $181 at Macy's as of November 5, 2026, it sits at the top of its recent range, and only two stores list it new, so discounting is limited.

Questions and answers

Is $181 a good price for the Coach HC8449U?

It is the best new price found, at Macy's as of November 5, 2026, but it sits at the top of the recent range. With only two stores listing it, a lower price is unlikely without waiting for a seasonal sale.

What shape and fit are these sunglasses?

They are a cat-eye, full-rim frame in plastic with a standard bridge fit. That shape suits most face shapes and the standard bridge works for average nose widths.

Are the lenses polarized?

No lens specification is listed for this model, so treat it as a standard tinted sunglass. Check the lens tag in store if UV or polarization matters to you.

What comes in the box?

Coach sunglasses typically ship with a branded case and cleaning cloth. Confirm the contents with the store before ordering if the case matters to you.

How does the HC8449U compare with other Coach cat-eye frames?

It is a full-rim plastic cat-eye, so it is bolder and heavier-looking than Coach's thin metal or half-rim styles. Choose it if you want the shape to stand out; pick a metal frame for a lighter look.

When is it cheapest?

Department-store sunglasses sales around spring and holiday periods are the usual windows for a cut. At $181 now, watch Macy's markdowns rather than expecting a third store to undercut it.

Where is the Coach HC8449U Women's Sunglasses cheapest?

At Macy's, for $181.00, as of our latest check.

What do buyers say about the Coach HC8449U Women's Sunglasses?

Where can I buy the Coach HC8449U Women's Sunglasses?

10 stores we checked sell it, including Macy's, Target, COACH, Dillard's, eyebuydirect.com.
