Does the CVA 7440 need to be plumbed in?

Yes. It is a built-in model designed for a fixed water connection, which is why it has no large refillable tank. Plan the water line and drain during the cabinet build.

Can it make two milk drinks at once?

It has two brewing spouts and an integrated milk frother with a 0.18-gallon carafe, so it can fill two cups in one cycle. Milk drinks still come out one pair at a time.

Is $4,699 a good price?

That is the only new price listed, at Best Buy as of November 7, 2026. With one store selling it new, there is little discounting to compare against, so expect to pay close to list.

What voltage does it need?

It is a 240 V, 1450 W machine. Check that your kitchen has a compatible circuit before ordering, since it will not run on standard US 120 V outlets.

Does it work with an app?

No. The CVA 7440 has no app control. Settings and drink programs are handled on the machine's display.

What is included with the machine?

The machine comes with its integrated grinder, milk carafe and reusable filter. Installation hardware and the water connection fittings are typically handled by the installer.

Our take on the Miele CVA 7440 Brilliant White

The Miele CVA 7440 is a built-in, plumbed espresso machine with an integrated grinder, automatic milk frothing and a 0.18-gallon milk carafe. It is designed to sit flush in a kitchen cabinet, so it needs a dedicated cutout and a water line rather than counter space. At $4,699 at Best Buy as of November 7, 2026, it sits at the top of the built-in coffee machine market, with only one store listing it new.
