Does the Miele CVA 7845 need to be plumbed in?

Yes. It is a built-in machine designed for a fixed water connection, so it needs a water line and drain in the cabinet. That is why it has no large refillable tank to top up.

How many drinks can it make at once?

It has two brewing spouts, so it can dispense two coffees at the same time. The milk carafe holds about 0.185 gallons for milk drinks.

What are the dimensions for the cabinet cutout?

The unit is about 23.4 inches wide, 17.9 inches high and 18.7 inches deep. Check Miele's built-in niche dimensions before ordering, since the cabinet opening must match.

Is the CVA 7845 worth $6,999?

That depends on whether you want a built-in, plumbed machine with two spouts and app control. A freestanding bean-to-cup machine costs far less but sits on the counter and needs manual refilling.

Does it work with the Miele app?

Yes. It has built-in Wi-Fi and app control for settings and recipes. It also has a display and programmable functions on the machine itself.

Only two stores list it new, and the best price was $6,999 at Best Buy as of November 7, 2026. Watch for holiday promotions, since built-in appliances rarely discount deeply.
