Questions and answers

Is the Mikolo M4-2.0 worth $1,699.99?
At $1,699.99 as of October 29, 2026, you get a Smith machine, rack and dual-stack cable trainer in one unit, which is less than buying three separate pieces. It is a fair price if you have the space and time for a long build. It has not been seen cheaper in the tracked window, so waiting has no proven payoff yet.
How does it compare with a rack plus separate cable machine?
Separate pieces usually give a sturdier rack and a smoother cable stack, but they take more floor space and cost more combined. The M4-2.0 wins on footprint and convenience, and loses some cable smoothness and assembly simplicity.
How much weight do the cable stacks give?
Two 130 lb stacks total 260 lb, and the 2:1 pulley ratio means the effective resistance at the handle is about half the selected stack weight. That suits most accessory and isolation work but limits heavy low-row or pulldown training.
How long does assembly take?
Owners report 6 to 8 hours or more, and the included instructions do not cover weight stack installation. Plan for two people and a full day, and expect the stacks in separate packages.
What is in the box?
The frame, both weight stacks in separate packages (8 packages total), sandwich round J-hooks, 20-inch extended spotter arms, a 3-in-1 pad for thigh, foot and step work, and dip bars. A barbell and weight plates are not included.
When is it cheapest?
The only tracked price is $1,699.99 on October 29, 2026, which is both the high and the low so far. There is no seasonal pattern yet, so check the price history before buying.
