Is the Milwaukee 0880-20 worth it?

It is worth it if you already own M18 batteries and need HEPA-filtered cleanup away from an outlet. If you mostly clean a garage with power nearby, a corded shop vac gives more suction for less money.

Does it come with a battery and charger?

No. It is sold as a bare tool, so you need a separate M18 battery and charger. Budget for those if you are not already on the platform.

How long does the battery last?

Milwaukee rates runtime at about 30 minutes per charge, and charging takes about an hour. Expect less on the highest suction setting or with a clogged filter.

Can it handle wet spills?

Yes. It is a wet/dry vacuum with a 2-gallon tank. Empty and dry the tank and filter after wet use before switching back to dry pickup.

How does it compare to a corded shop vac?

It trades power for portability. At 45 CFM it has less suction than most corded 5-gallon and larger vacs, but it is cordless, lighter at 10.1 lb and HEPA-certified.

The only recorded price is $159 at Distritech as of November 1, 2026, with no earlier history to compare. Watch for bundle deals that include a battery, since the bare tool rarely discounts much.
