Is the Milwaukee M18 FUEL Rear Handle Circular Saw worth it?

It is a strong choice if you already own M18 batteries and want a cordless 7-1/4 inch saw with a rear handle and blade brake. If you are starting from zero, budget for batteries and a charger on top of the $247.00 saw price at eBay as of November 4, 2026.

Does it come with a battery?

No. The saw is tool-only, so you need an M18 battery and charger, which are sold separately. The blade is included.

It cuts 2-5/8 inches deep at 90 degrees, enough for 2x framing lumber, and bevels to 45 degrees. It will not cut thick timbers in a single pass.

How does it compare to a worm drive saw?

It is lighter and runs on the M18 battery system, but a corded worm drive typically has more torque for heavy repeated framing. The rear handle gives similar two-handed control.

What blade does it use?

It takes a 7-1/4 inch circular blade with a diamond arbor, and a steel blade is included. Blade changes are keyed, so keep the wrench handy.

Cordless tool prices move with battery bundle promotions and holiday sales. Watch the price history and compare the four stores listing it new rather than assuming the $247.00 eBay price is the floor.
