Is this bundle worth it over buying the drill and impact separately?

Usually yes if you need both tools and a spare 6Ah battery, since combo kits cost less than the tools bought individually. Check the exact tool model numbers in the bundle against single-tool prices before deciding.

How does the 6Ah battery compare to the 2Ah packs in cheaper kits?

The 6Ah pack roughly triples the runtime of a 2Ah pack and fits every M18 tool. It is heavier, so some buyers keep a smaller pack for light overhead work.

Does this work with other Milwaukee M18 batteries?

Yes. All M18 batteries, from 1.5Ah to 12Ah High Output, fit these tools. The bundle's charger also charges any M18 pack.

The listing confirms two tools and a case, plus the 6Ah battery. Confirm whether a charger and belt clips are included before ordering, since bundle contents vary by retailer.

When is the best time to buy?

Milwaukee combo kits typically drop during holiday sales and contractor events. Track the price history here and buy when it falls below the recent average.

Our take on the Milwaukee M18 FUEL Drill/Impact with 6Ah Battery Pack Bundle

This is a two-tool Milwaukee M18 FUEL kit: a brushless 1/2-inch hammer drill/driver and a 1/4-inch hex impact driver, sold together with a 6.0Ah M18 battery and a hard case. Both tools use Milwaukee's brushless FUEL motors, which deliver more torque and longer runtime than the older brushed M18 tools. The 6Ah pack is a step up from the 2Ah batteries usually bundled with entry kits, so it suits heavier drilling and driving. No current price for this exact bundle was provided, so compare it against the drill-only and impact-only kits before buying.
